Kiembeni Primary School is situated in a built up area on the edge of the town of Kiembeni near the town of Mtopanga (See Map).

Pupils range from 5 to 16 years of age and follow the Kenyan Curriculum from Standard 1 to 8.

At Standard 8 all Pupils sit the School Leaving Certificate.

The area surrounding the school is rapidly developing and the school buildings are being extended to cope with the growing number of pupils.

In September 2006 building was halted due to lack of funds; it was completed in January 2007.

In September 2006 the computer lab was set up.

Standard 1 to 6 pupils will have a one hour lesson each day of the week. They will focus on Maths, Science and English.

Upgrading from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 was to have been completed in January 2007 but due to circumstances beyond our control it was postponed and will take place in May 2007.
