SETTING UP A GROUP

Bamburi Project AreaIt is anticipated that The Bamburi Community Schools Group will act as a Model to be extended to other areas of Kenya.

Are you interested in setting up such a group?

The Bamburi Community Schools Group is a cluster group of eight schools who work together to promote and support each others I.T. potential. See CPSK Model

Each Community School will have its own computer lab’ with:

  • Computers
  • Printer/Photocopier/Laminator
  • Trained I.T. Teachers
  • Satellite Internet Access
  • I.T. Technician Support

Each School will serve as:

  • An I.T. & Educational Centre for its pupils, teachers and people in its community
  • An Internet resource for Educational assignments
  • A Community facility (out of school hours) for  printing/photocopying/laminating and browsing the ‘net

One school from the group will serve as a base for:

  • In-house Certified I.T. Training
  • I.T. Association Meetings
  • The co-ordination of the computer project
