Concordia Primary School is situated in the outlying district of Vikwatani near the town of Mtopanga (See Map).

Pupils range from 5 to 16 years of age and follow the Kenyan Curriculum from Standard 1 to 8.

At Standard 8 all Pupils sit the School Leaving Certificate.

Concordia Primary School serves as a community centre for the rapidly developing district surrounding it.

People in the local community use it as a centre for social events and as a distribution point for water.

In September 2006 the computer lab was set up.

Two teachers were selected as I.T. Teachers and attended training sessions at Mtopanga.

Standard 1-6 pupils were expected to have a one hour lesson each day of the week. They were to focus on Maths, Science and English.

Problems were encountered with the supply of electricity to the school which hampered the progress of the computer programme.

These problems are currently being dealt with and it is expected that the programme will be fully functioning by May 2007.
