| What
is Torr Vale Mill? Torr Vale Mill closed in the latter part of 2000 after more than two centuries as a textile mill. The Mill probably holds the record as being the only mill in England to have remained continuously in the cotton manufacturing industry, having survived from the late 1790's until its final closure in 2000. |
